DocVault — Getting Started

Signing in​

DocVault runs inside your own SharePoint site — there is no separate login. Open the site your administrator gave you and you are already authenticated with your Microsoft 365 account. Everything you see respects your existing SharePoint permissions: if you cannot open a document in SharePoint, it will not appear for you in DocVault.

Moving between screens​

Every screen shares the same top navigation: Home, My Workspace, Library, Search, Templates, Pipeline and Admin. The current screen is underlined in your organisation's theme colour. Two buttons sit on the right:

  • Advanced search — jumps to the Search & Discovery screen.
  • New document — opens the Library with the upload dialog already open.

Your trial​

A new installation runs free for 15 days. A countdown banner appears across the top of every screen and turns red in the final three days. You can activate at any point during the trial without losing a day — select Enter license key in the banner. See Installation & Setup for full activation steps.
